We have just confirmed that we will be attending Games Convention 2008!
If you can make it, it will be worth visiting Leipzig this August.

We'll provide more information on exact booth locations as we get closer.

I'm just amazed at how many Battlefield Fans there are, i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if a few people dress up specifically for the BF Heroes part of the Convention.

Wahay, BFH are going to be showing off at some convention that I have not got a hope in hell of getting to. I fully agree with Knightege. This now means that the open beta will be AFTER the convention, in August, and the full release a while after that. Seriously guys, can you PLEASE bring out the open beta. It's just getting annoying now.

at least this is a better update than the crappy story from last week, and you can be sure the release its not going to be before the convention.. it will be after the convention, or even during it, but not before.

The release would be this summer.. this summer is already running to a end.. as much i want to play it im not hoping they over-rush the game like EA did with MOH: Airborne and make a bad release in the game..

Good News! How is, "the game wont be released for at least another month" good news?
Ok, it's good to see a post since the one three weeks ago talking about a ring tone. But, it seems a little misleading. It doesn't explicitly say BFH won't be released before Games Convention 2008, just that it will be "worth visiting". One can assume, though, this means no game or beta release until at least August?
I don't understand why we can't just get a post giving a more ballpark release date? Is it a secret? Let's be honest, not everyone is excited about the game possibly being demo'd in Germany. How many of us are going to go to Germany to see this?
I think the game looks great, and I'm looking forward to it...however, with the delay, and really the lack of posts on an actual release time-frame, I think this could hurt the game by sending some potential players away?
Possibly, i can see the release date being pushed back ok, but the Beta i don't see why not. Unless, the game is really bugged up and it needs a lot of work. So yeah, there are probably logical reasons to this. And you're right they could say something about WHY.

WHY ARE YOU RELEASING THE GAME SO LATE!
Summer Holidays is the only time i really get to play cuz in schooltime all i do is do schoolwork, row, eat and sleep. I Am REALLY disappointed that i probably won't get any actual time to play 'till christmas. I just think u are really mean, waiting so long to release an open beta even. U guys have already done a great job. Why not reward yourselves with satisfied posts of happy players who share your love of the world you have created? :(
