Closed Beta Clarification
Hello Heroes!
As you may have noticed, you killed our website. We are not angry. We're very pleased you want to be in the Beta.
The beta for Heroes will be divided into several stages, the first of which is all about testing out this new way of getting games to you all; by downloading and installing them from a website. We'll also be trying out some other dull stuff to do with servers, so we are expecting the systems to be down as much as they are up.
To help us track down all the technical issues, we have asked a third party to find us some specialist Beta testers. We are doing all this because we want to be sure that when we launch Heroes, everything will work smoothly.
So hang in there! We will announce here when it's time to sign up for the public stage of the Beta.

i want to play the beta so bad i played the original and 2142 and im getting bad company gold edition but i really want in the beta for a new shooter to play and to experience the new game and im pretty good at shooters
avid bf2 and 2142 player here. can't wait for my chance at the beta

Sweet! I been playin BF2 and All the expansions for it since 2005, Played 2142, 1942, Vietnam, but project reality was my fav. I'd love to try the beta!
Looks to be a sick game, I'm all for the fun factor even as a hardcore gamer. It's about time other developers (other then myself, flash games) worry about the fun factor rather then graphics and all that good stuff. Keep up the good work, I'll be around for when this beta comes for sure.

I play Bf1942 (SH),BFVietnam, BF2 all the expansions, BF2142, QW:ET, on a Intel Core 2 Duo 2,12: 2 X NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT SLI.
clearly need access to beta I helped test bf2142 first beta right after alpha all the way to release including the closed retail client. would like to kill the UK EA in house testers again.

im guessing when you say summer 08 you mean june/ july, although there isnt a beta so is there some delays? or are you just gonna release the game strait after the public beta? and is there even going to be a public beta?
I have bin a loyal fan of the BF series loving each one.But this...this is just awfull.you are making it FUNNY.last time i check funny wasnt in BF legacy. It might actualy be fun But the seriousness was with the reality of the others hering forign languages,real weapons,authentic vietcong person saying you people will bomb you, A10's and a possible outcome of the future but this this shows none of this.It looks like incredibles(good movie)meets war.I mean come on so u can customize ure toon big woop please make something that a war lover will play

Game looks great and fun, personally gfx mean little to me its all about gameplay imo, so i hope that the gameplay will be fun and challenging
Played 1942 and vietnam alot, later versions where less fun (imo) cause they brought nothing new, i hope battlefield heroes will bring something new to this genre and i think (seeing the movies) it will :)
unlike Lince i have a social life so i wont be playin 10 hours a day, but like the 1st movie said i can avoid ppl like that in the game and if that system will work well i think BF heroes will be playable for any gamer at any skill lvl.
So i wish the devs the best of luck and i hope this game will kick a few doors down in the gaming world :)

Ano your "loyal" and everythin but this is a casual game so everyone can play. Also that means. 'not getting shot in the face repeatedly by a swearing,ultra-skilled 15 year old boy who plays the game every day for 8 hours.' (words from the official BFH trailer) so if you want that war feelin go ahead and buy bad company.

I've never tried any Battlefield games, but this one caught my attention.
All my online gaming is focused on Team Fortress 2 but this one seems to compete in online fun !
