I bet they will make the dapper/stylish version of the weapons as strong as the super versions, because otherwise there will be such an insane amount of QQ..

I'll take you on that bet, because when people complain, it's usually about something more serious than that. Like...Hackers, or game balancing, or when DICE lies to us.

People are complaining because DICE released Dapper versions of the older weapons shortly before announcing the newer ones. It's like... they released the weapon knowing it's going to become useless soon to high level players.

It'd be nice if they had a weapon-trade in or something like that.

Exactly. People will always wine about new content. Soldier GS was OP, nerf it!!! Commandos were Op, Nerf them!!! Now, gunners are over used by people and are called OP. If they had left it after the Commando nerf, it would have been perfect.

Gunners didn't need so radical a boost in skills. Now Gunners seem to be used by a lot of people, meaning they ARE the dominating class. Why do you think people would use a class more? Not because they are weak, but because they can dominate other classes in more situations.

Now with new weapons coming out to the regular game people wine about them being too powerful. I think gunners will be even more powerful possible with these new weapons. A better rocket launcher making it easier to KO tanks, and a long range MG. Of course, commandos got a nice knife and soldiers got some good gear too. I think Dice was trying to even out classes with better weapons all around.

and have they ever advertised VP stuff on the site like that?

(the images are 2: a nat commando with the new sniper rifle, and a royal soldier with the new tommy gun smg)
