Workbench shotgun

Hello heroes,

I have a question for you.
I just got Dr. Bullet from the workbench. This upgrade heals for every 3th crit hit.
My question now is:
If I put this on my shotgun, will it count per pellet, or per shot?

I think it counts as a shot because when you hit someone with a shotgun it will only get 1 damage thing like +20 or something. It's not that it shows 5x +4 damage so I think it's per shot.

I'm pretty sure sure it counts per pellet because that's how critical damage and hit chance is calculated per shot (eg. 2 critical damage per pellet with 20 % chance per pellet among 12 pellets).

If it works like that, you'll have 96 % chance to get 5 hp back per shot when all pallets hit on Super/Uber LR/SR Shotguns with a super critical WB-mod.

Assuming it works like that, it will be a monster as dual Super/dual LR shotguns when both weapons have Dr. Bullet..

That's probably because all pellets travel at the same speed and points gained in the same isntance add together and form 1 number.

I tried it and until now I have not gained much health. So I guess it works like Thekillerpown said.
Too bad, it would have been awsome to have "ff" on my sr-shotgun
