Have you not considered the following:

They have to take the old deal of the day down and put up the new one; a scheduled time has been assigned for this to happen. In order to prevent bugs in the system, or at the very least to reduce their occurrence, there is a period of time in which there is no deal of the day listed.

After a predetermined amount of time has passed (perhaps one hour or two, given the time of your comment), the deal is placed on the home page.

If you check the home page now, you will see that the two deals of the day are up and available.

I know that they make sure its bug FREE , but they not doing a good job here... they can align template they are using with 7 days in a stretch which regularly updates it without person intervention.... In technical terms it could be possible connected to a mini-site with having SQL and PHP doing the background work. And I do check twice or thrice with 10 minute intervals.

What I mean is they have these time frames set in place as a part of the programming. I do not mean that people are physically changing the deals of the day.

Even though its an automated updating... They can make it much better....

Checked in 2 hour interval today : 0900 (GMT+1) and 1100 (GMT+1) ... still No update on Deal of the day?
