Important Notice

Google Chrome has stopped supporting NPAPI which is the technology the game launcher plugin relies on to start the game.

If you want to be able to launch the game while using this browser you can re-enable NPAPI support with the following steps:

  1. Go to the following URL: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
  2. Choose 'Enable' under the 'Enable NPAPI' heading.
  3. Restart Chrome.
  4. You should now be able to start the game.

In this post we will try to narrow down the cause of your issue.
Although there are a lot of helpful people here, we do ask that new visitors read these instructions first.

Before creating a new thread in this forum:
Before posting about your issue, for a good tutorial, please follow these troubleshooting tips first:

If you are experiencing any issues downloading, launching or playing the game please take a quick look at these troubleshooting tips to help us narrow down the causes of some of these problems and to help you on your way to the battlefield.

Here are some possible solutions to some connection issues.
1. Try to forward These Ports in your router/firewall.
2. Try the tips in This Thread

Basic Troubleshooting

HERE is a good guide made by StickDude101 to help you get your computer updated with latest software and drivers that Battlefield Heroes needs.

If you are having "Black Screen" or "Graphical Issues" make sure you graphics card supports Pixel Shader 2.0
One way to do that is to check out these great user made guides.

If after all of that you are still having issues with the game check out the Search Function and see if you can find other possible solutions that help you.

If you can't find any, head on over to the Technical Support forum and lets us know about your issue.

Making a new thread

When making a new post, Please do 3 things

1. Please use the Search Function, It is a powerful tool and a great source of information, this will help keep everything in one place and help us to help you.
2. Please remember to use the Correct Tags for your post.
3. Provide as much detail about your situation as possible. People who want to try and help you will need to know some things about your system.

For example:
  • What Operating System are you using?
  • Are you using emulation software? (For example. using Boot Camp to run windows on a Mac)
  • What Graphics card are you using?
  • What kind of internet connection do you have?
  • What router are you using?
  • Who's your Internet Service Provider?
  • What's your geographical location?
  • What anti-virus software are you using?
  • Are you using a proxy? If so, please provide some details
  • Are you using a Firewall? If so, please provide some details
  • Please include your DXDiag file. The FAQs will tell you how to get this.

Any details you post might help us and other players reading your post to easier resolve your issue.
