Yes they're in the same area, but by that logic you might as well say Oceania

The Aust/NZ thing is actually pretty ok when you consider our mixed Nations Cup team and the fact every notable "Aussie" clan has seemingly had a NZ leader/co-leader at some point.

Where the real split needs to be is "forum famous" and "ingame famous". Mattyg vs Dawg for NZ. Tpang vs Tux or you for Aussie. Dawg is a well known "brand" on our servers. He's like a Mcdonalds burger-there are better burgers but with Mcdonalds you know what you're going to get everytime (in this case a crazed level 30 gunner running around shooting all over the place while throwing kegs).

You could almost make a 3rd category for "skill famous" but the fact is only players at a decent level usually recognise those people. Wilko or Zombear in early BFH the Aussie examples of that.

Yeah Scarth/Matty, could have used either for the example.

A big part of the Dawg/Heli thing is the fact they use similar names on all their characters so get known by that name (though in Dawg's case he uses the nat gunner most of the time anyway). Same with Wilko/Frosty/Wind in old days. People who use vague clan names aren't as recognisable when there are/were heaps of tns/trs/infs etc. Lets not even get started on the whole using an L as an I thing that tr/ks do.

Yeah I get what you mean. I know quite a few people that have created a few identities from their separate heroes, then I go ahead to add them via the tab screen and then later discover that these separate heroes all belong to the one guy. All my heroes have separate (and seemingly obscure) names, so essentially you have to create separate identities for them.
