Since the last update, I have some problems with my Logitech Wireless Mouse M510. Changing batteries did not help. This are the problems that I have (had):
  1. Pointer movement: The pointer halted slightly, from time to time. For example, I was turning to the left and for a single second the mouse did not respond, thus, I stopped turning. This problem has been solved by using an extender cable attached to my Unifying receiver.
  2. Missed button clicks: I still have this problem. LM, RM, M2 work all fine. However, M3 (back) och M4 (forward) are working erratic. Sometimes I have to press 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, and up to 15 times before the button works. I am only having this problem while playing. That is, outside the game, the forward and the backward button works fine.

I use the M3 mouse button for slot 9 and M4 for slot 10. I reconfigured BFH to use keys 9 respective 0 and those worked perfect. And when I changed back, the problem was there, again.

Anyone having similar problems?

sometimes my mouse tends to be jerky as im firing and turning rapidly.

and my 1-0 keys rarely "dont respond".

Yes. I had an issue with the game not liking my right-click button and scroll-wheel button, I got a new mouse and it fixed it. After taking my old mouse apart, it turns out the micro-switch(es) were worn down from frivolous clicking. If you have a spare mouse (or can borrow one from somewhere), it's worth testing and see if the issue is the mouse and not the game.

As for it only working in game, meh, it's worth a try if you can.
Maybe try a firmware upgrade for the mouse? (though I don't see how BFH would have effected it, but then getting mouse input problems shouldn't be caused by BFH either).

On average, I have to click 3 times before the M3 or M4 button responds on my M510.

I have also tried out my Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX. This mouse has also an average of 3 clicks before responding on the M3 och M4 buttons.

Both the M510 and the MX are using the same receiver. Changing receiver has not resolved the problem. Nor changing USB port. Once more, please note that the problem is only BFH related. For example, when I am browsing a web page, I click once on the backward or forward buttons and the mouse (M510/MX) works as expected. I cannot find any firmware for the M510/MX to download.

Maybe that's the problem. Try plugging a mouse into your computer and see what happens. I'm with the others that this shouldn't be something bfh is causing. Maybe you can borrow a friends wireless mouse. At least this will troubleshoot whether the issue is your receiver. You can also try checking your clicking speed and set it to register most accurately for you. Your mouse probably has a program to control it or you can go into your control panel.

Well, I would need to buy a new mouse to test the M3/M4 (Backward/Forward) buttons. I mean, to compare.

I cannot find any way of configuring clicking speed.

Are you not able to wire your mouse into the PC?

Another way to test I suppose is to take it to a PC (for example, a school PC) , plug it in and see if the problem is still there.

I did test my M510 mouse on another computer, and it worked as bad as on my own computer. Now, I am browsing Logitechs site for any clue/advice.

Wireless is pretty and all, but a wired mouse is much more reliable (and cheaper).

You can ask the mods to move this section by putting something like [Move this to Off-Topic plz] infront of the topic title.

With your problem itself I cannot help. Sad

All right! Thanks all! With regard to my problem, it has been fixed. Note sure what did the trick, but, it must have been the combination of the following:

#1. Resetting Game Settings in BFH
In BFH > Options > Controls > On foot controls > Weapons, I did set (once more) Equipment Bar Slot 9 to the key "9" and the slot 10 to the key "10".

#2. Using Logitechs software for mouse settings, SetPoint, I tried to bypass my problem by associating the backward and forward buttons with the keys 9 and 0.

My plan was good, or so I thought. I would reconfigure the buttons to act as the 0 and the 9 key and by that get access to abilities associated with the corresponding slot/key. My plan totally failed, lol. So I did once again set slot 9 respectively slot 10 to the M3 and M4 buttons. And I tried to deactivate my bypass configuration and did some suitable changes in the SetPoint software. And, that folks, did the trick.
