My favorite threads are disappearing an' I'm feeling sad as I have no thread to lurk in anymore. Sad

So here is my little rayz of sunshine thread. What cheers you up or makes you laugh? What GOOD STUFF happened to you today?

Here in the UK, the sun is out, the sky is blue, and (from a personal view point) I'm just back from a week's holiday, so life is goooood Smile

(Book now open on how many posts this thread makes b4 it crashes and burns...)

So, today is 10/4/14 and the sun is still shining in this thread. Smile

Last time I went to the OTS it was empty. I got drunk on my own which was difficult as the barman is mysteriously absent and the barmaid has disappeared down a mine.

I sadly haz no good news. At my school, we are currently taking a test that very few other states have to take. I can see why too, because this test has absolutely NO effect on our grades, yet they think they should revolve all of our curriculum around what will be on this test. The worst part is, I have a teacher that feels he needs to give us 3 front and back pages of notes for it. Today with him was even worse, because all of my other teachers gave us a break, since we spent the whole morning testing. But no, not with him. He decided to give us a crap load of notes about the civil rights movement, which has nothing to do with the class or the stupid test. He was also generous enough to give us a ton of homework. The only good thing about his class is that he is about 75 years old, so I get to say whatever I want about him out loud, because he can't hear.

No. I live in Florida, so we take FCAT. Or as some people like to call it, the "Florida Child Abuse Test"

But think how useful this will be when you pursue your career as a civil rights expert! Wink

Good news Smile

Todays little ray of sunshine is a profound question with an even more profound answer:

"What is worse, ignorance or apathy?"

"Who knows? Who cares?"
