Well I'm not hooked up onto that "EA gives to charity" mumbo jumbo they're trying to sell us.
You see set costs 1680BF which is 12€. If I buy it they will donate 1$ from it, which is 0.75€, or 6%, to Child's Play. So I don't want to give 12€ to EA for recolored Alpiner's outfit. I like the hat and I'll buy it IF it's the normal price (I still haven't opened the game to see).
And if you want to be suckered with that "EA gives to charity" story be my guest, but don't try to force other people to put money into EA's pockets.

yeah youre right... i wish they had put like 20% of gaining to charity ... then i would have spent like 100 euros

The community team is preparing a really cool Christmas inspired "Fashion Victim Awards". They will be asking you guys to put together the most awesome custom Santa and Nikolaus outfits possible. The best Royal and National outfits will be put in the store are discounted bundles and we will also be donating 1 USD to Child's Play for each one of those bundles sold also.

In order to enable this event, the items needed to be available separately so that people could put together cool sets. If we made some people happy that were waiting for some of the items separately then that is good too. And if we make some money, that is good to, since it allows us to keep the game running. :-)

Remember, buying these items separately will not contribute to the Child's Play fund raising. So if you want to donate you will still need to get one of the Santa or Nikolaus bundles or the new bundles that come out of the Fashion Victim award that will be officially announced later today.

$4000 maybe is something to the poor, but it IS NOTHING to EA, since it profits millions a year. My family's market raises more.

That was not my point, i was just saying.
I didn't try forcing the guy to buy.
Just gave some advice since the hat and beard both cost 560 bfunds which isn't exactly cheap so i tought its better to buy the sets since its just a couple dollars more and you get more 'value for your buck'.
I agree on the recolored alpiner skins, still its an outfit and the fact its recolored doesn't nessecairly mean its ugly.
