2010/02/24 Permanent bans for cheaters, discuss here

Niice! but i think that you should get banned for about a week on first offence, just to let the cheaters know that this is not tolerated and if they then continue then they should get permabanned. just so that they have a change to realise that you shouldnt cheat

Why? Cheaters know it is not allowed to do that and they will get banned if caught. Seriously, you are either dumb or using cheats yourself, why else some one legit would want cheaters not getting banned permanently, they ruin the whole game for everyone.

I fully agree with what your saying Punkbuster! For those who really enjoy the game, me being one of them and it took me 8 months to realise that I did enjoy the game after stopping for a while then coming back to realise that there is still ALOT of fun to be had on this game so I eventually decided to get BF and start making my characters look cool!

Hackers ruin the fun for everyone, especially those who've put a fair amount of money into this game like myself, and I'm actually getting more BF Today probably but I refuse to do so untill the hacker that I've caught gets confirmed that he was hacking, I'm just not fully sure how to submit a report related to that stuff so I posted the video in here.

EDIT: Nvm I figured out how to report individual players, but I'd like the community's view on this also just so I can confirm that I am still somewhat sane in this world lol

I am.... Seriously though, Hacking has ruined many games for me. People either don't want to play enough or invest enough time to get good, or even when they do play enough they STILL CANT BEAT you so they start hacking little by little,then enough to the point that they don't care about the game as a whole. It's awful. It this game had better PB it would be awesome and also a Maste Ban List. There are a lot of hackers and the majority of them use radar hacks :/ I see this all the time because im a lot of time with commandos! And im also afraid to see that the majority of them are in low level games

I played against him today again (unfortunetly) he keeps using that 0.6 accuracy no spread aimbot... he just uses it at close range to look normal but it kills you ridiculously fast, he easly kills all the opposite team by himself.

Frankly IDK how they havent banned him.. everybody knows about his posts in cheater forums...

Lol I came across that trash twice the last four days, he killed 40 good lvl30's (well, his 'unknownhack' killed them) in a blink of an eye, ridiculously overt hacking.

There are a lot of hackers in this game, and usually I don't care because I can beat most of them anyway, but a blatant sleaze on this level thumbing their nose at players keeping by the rules is a malignant cancer.

i didnt read the last 20 sites tho i have one question .. how do you judge someone to be cheating?

ive had like 3 times 30-0 stats playing my gunner and people told me they had made a demo of my gaming and they would report me, furthermore they got me banned permanently from that server i was playing on ... so what do we do about cheaters in that game? send 100k demos to ea to check them out? o.o

Does anyone know for sure that certain reported hackers with good proof on video really have been banned? It's a different matter but it can give you an idea, I actually think hackers etc. are even lower on the priority list.. Occasionaly I run into an obvious hacker, I just leave the server if it stops being fun.

I found a new hacker, it was a lvl 30 gunner with BC2 outfit and weapons (so he paid). I recorded a video and i hope that he will be banned permanently ..

Just a very large note since hardly anyone here has read the Forum Guidelines

Report hackers using the report method below and not on the forums. Anyone found linking videos, hack websites or dropping names will have strict action taken against their accounts. It is quite simple, use the method provided to you for reporting.

Report by searching the player's name through player search, click the "report this player" button on the user's profile ( the one that shows all their character names) and link or upload video evidence in the report and fill the report out.

Either way I think this has been open for long enough now and seems it is only collecting those that wish to break the forum guidelines.
