Thats how it is SUPPOSED to work. Just to throw numbers out randomly...if you kill 100 noobs, you might get a point, but if one of those noobs kills you, you may lose 100 pts.

Its SUPPOSED to be far more dependent on the quality of the people you play against than K.

I was just chiming in on that but, now Ill add more.

I could care less abotu stats myself - but I do mostly play to win. That means I try not to die, a lot. Dying = lost tickets = lose. So Ill run away and use widgets and lots of things people complain about here. My point being, if you took away all the stats, I would still be playing the same, at least until they take tickets away, and that isnt going to happen. SO, bottom line, I think this request to "remove stats" is stupid and a waste of time.

, but only for the removal of WLR. Couldn't the KDR just get a major overhaul, rather than complete removal? Or would it be impossible for the kill counter on the heroe's webpage to only count enemy kills on you?

Both stats are worthless. WLR is based on elements beyond your control, and KDR is pointless when you have rampant hacking and spawn camping. I've lost track of how many times I've joined a server and spawned in dead.

This is a few months old, and now useless as blues already discussed it.

You have to think further. Removing KDR and WLR could possibly reduce noobbashing and stat padding, one of the biggest reasons why people bash is to farm their stats.

It's certainly not the panacea to statpadding/noobbashing, but it certainly helps.

It also adds a little "casual" feel to the game; people are supposed to play to have fun, not to inflate their stat pages.

THAT'S PRETTY DAMN CHEAP BRO! That has been looked down upon in shooters for like ever. You don't deny by suiciding, not even in a PUG. Take your death like a man or gtfo.
