I thought about how this could be organised as I was just pondering at work. Since it's just to get it done as soon as possible.

I would simply suggest picking random days and different hours 8am, 12pm, 6pm, 12am (GMT) This would give US/Eu different available time slots.

Get a private server (plenty of people to ask), set a password on it. Let anyone join, but the server needs to be monitored and admin'd (preferably someone I know and somewhat can trust and leave it too). Admin checks that each side is on the corresponding team (well you only need to check if the closed beta side are actually CB, doesn't matter too much for the OB side).

Let them duke it out. Post screenshot results. Done. Simples.



Ooo, as my idea let's anyone to join the match. If my idea is used to quickly do these games, I'll say it now. I will not accept failures, if whoever was on the CB team as they lost, you will forever be shamed and demoted to the likes of Open Beta users. You do not wear the Closed Beta tag and lose. It is unacceptable!

And if you do win (which I am expecting) you shall be the elite 8/16/24/32 Closed Beta players that shall forever be remembered in glory for putting those Open Beta players in their place!

Can I be the "constantly waving and not shooting at all" guy in the team?
I can also blow up planes constantly. 100% not a single harmed middle sized monkey.

The server is located in Europe and it will be set to 'Unranked'.

Rules
The items / weapons listed below will be the only ones that will be allowed for this match. If it's not listed below, it is not allowed to bring to the match. Only one of each weapon kind is allowed. So no reskins, pilfers or stolen etc. Double Shotguns are not allowed.

As Fire proof underpants will be allowed. It is highly recommended that no Soldier in either team equips the ability Burning Bullets.

Weapons
Only Ubers and Supers will be allowed. Along with only TNT or Single Grenade on all heroes except for the Gunner that will be allowed either the TNT or the Bazooka (If he wishes to bring the regular Bazooka instead of the Uber / Super version, then it is allowed).


Maps and Score
Maps that will be played:

Buccaneer Bay
Victory Village
Coastal Clash

Each map will be played first to 2 wins. So if a team wins the 2nd match in a map, it ends as an overall win for that faction in that map.
Winning in a map (first to two wins), will give 1 win to that faction. First to 2 wins, wins the whole event. If it ends in a tie from both BB and VV. The tiebreaker will be played in CC.

The event will take place 12th May at 2pm GMT time.

Everyone will be required to join the server 30 minutes before it starts. From there you will have 15 minutes to join. If you don't appear during those 15 minutes, a reserve will take your spot.

Spectator Rules
As a spectator, you will be dressed in Default Clothes ONLY. You will not walk amongst the teams and will observe the fight from afar.

As a player, you will not shoot or kill the spectator at any time.

There is only one problem with that. You can't remove fireproof underpants from your character and it would be a pain in the ass to remove those pants manually. It's just for fun.
As for the fireproof undies, I forgot that you couldn't remove them. But that's no problem. Fireproof undies will be allowed by default in either widgets or no widgets match and the soldiers in each team can just replace the Burning Bullets ability with something else.
As for bandages, stamina etc. Yea, could allow those in, but let's leave the fine tuning for later as we need players to even have the match in the first place.

Nothing is necessary. Is posting on the forums necessary? Is playing games necessary? Is talking to each other necessary? In the end all of it will mean nothing.

On other news, just played a few random games on an alt account on this computer. I'm reminded why I hate the BFH playerbase so much...
