Hello Heroes!
The Battlefield Heroes team - sitting in our little fishtank in Stockholm - are very proud to show you the first trailer of the game today, available in the video section of this site. I’m sure you are interested in seeing the gameplay footage and explanation of the experience, but I’m personally more excited about people starting to drop the term “businessivity” into normal conversation.
Versions of this movie have been around since before summer last year, and it has done a lot to get people excited inside and outside of EA, so it’s great to finally see a public reaction. It’s not so nice to see that one of our “trusted” media outlets broke the embargo yesterday meaning everyone saw the crappy YouTube version first… but anyway.
There should be some press previews and some on-camera interviews of me and James (the guy playing Rock band so expertly in the video) hitting the web right now, so get searching! Also, please leave your opinions on the movie in the comments thread below.

Very nice. The video really helped me understanding what this game is about. Team fortress 2 mixed with battlefield and a flavour of mmo.

I love every second of it. I have always been “moved” by the BF theme music and this one almost got me out of my seat in excitement. We have looked deep into the video and made our assumptions that this is going to be a kick-butt game!

What and you call your self a Swedish company… where the heck is the rest of scandinavia on that map!? Give me the whole of Finland! BTW the game looks much better than I hoped for. Awesome vehicles and planes… now just give me boats and battleships too! I’ll even settle for a a raft or a turtle I can wrap my self on. I’m so gonna love this game.

Good job EA/DICE team bringing my more casual-gaming friends into the Battlefield family. I had at least 4 friends that I tried to get to play BF2 but the PC specs and learning curve screened them out. This is a game I bet they would play!

Very great and funny Stuff ! :-) I hope it will bring us all a lot of awesome Gameplay back since the good, old Times of Battlefield 1942. Impressive Comicstyle, you`ve found the right way.
Oh, and as a german I love the look of the “National Army” - the good Guys and Angels in this Game. ;-)

Wonderfull trailer, the jokes about torrents sites, and boys who play all time was great.
The 2 cartoon guys shooting and crouching behind the boxes was a great touch to the all style of the game =p
I still hopes this game is released here in Brazil, that would be great. *-*

This game looks like a complete hoot… I can’t wait to play it. It’s a refreshing change from all these po-faced war games that are stinking the place up at the moment. Good work, squad, you’re a top notch crew!
Mr Ben Cousins - I read in an interview that in the future you would be looking at adding new maps on a regular basis - any chance you can remodel some of the more popular maps from the existing BF games - Karkand, Gibraltar, Hue, Irving, Berlin (Irving Berlin! I made a funny - ask your grandad) for BF Heroes?

As i’m huge fan of old old free online game ENEMY TERRITORY and whole series of BATTLEFIELDs, also i was amazed by visual part of last TEAM FORTRESS…i just can’t wait for this mix’up to show up in my desktop.

Best trailer for a game in a long while, if not ever! Had me in stitches. I work for a well known video games website and we have been watching BF: Heroes for a while. Has to be one of the hot picks for 2008. To all the guys and girls at EA DICE, keep up the exceptional work!

Looks very interesting indeed!
The plane gunning up the village looks really cool.
Graphics don’t look too taxing - I’d say alot of machines will play this very easily - I can see lunchtime gamers on their laptops blasting away.
The faces could do with a little more emotion/exaggerated animation though - The incredibles type of stuff would be better.
